Leadership

Environmental, economic and social crises that erode our quality of life and threaten our existence create an urgent need for wayfinders equipped with the will and capability to alter course.   Leaders who focus less on self and more on others, less on immediate gratification and more on long-term sustainability, less on ambition and more on impact.

Hoʻokele Strategies supports leadership development services that are inspired by ancestral wisdom, adaptive to evolving conditions and uplifted by innovation.

A key example of Hoʻokele Strategies work in this areas is
the First Nations Futures Program.

The First Nations Futures Program is an international alliance between respected institutions with a common interest, yet diverse perspectives, in fostering well-being by enhancing the intersect of our environment, economy and culture. Members of this alliance seek to perpetuate cultural identity by honoring their familial relationship with their respective domains, practicing culturally-grounded stewardship of their assets, and leveraging broader scale impact of systems that influence their environment, political policy and economy.
